Mr. James H. Randall, the founder of The James & Eleanor Randall Foundation, is married to Eleanor Randall, a renowned artist, and has 6 children: Adam, Beaux, Starlite, Matthew, Benjamin, Jordan, and three grandchildren, Alex,Samantha & Ithuriel. Mr. Randall was born in New York in 1944.

Professional 
In 1962 Mr. Randall started at Glovers Mills, in Burbank, Ca, as a distributor of work gloves, and industrial supplies.  Mr. Randall was introduced to rivets by taking $20,000 of aerospace rivets as form of payment from a customer that was about to go bankrupt.  That’s when Glovers Mills became a distributor for Cherry Rivet and Olympic Fastening Systems.

In 1984 Mr. Randall purchased Thompson Safety, a major distributor of safety equipment, and merged them with Glovers Mills to form Safety West, with locations in the City of Industry, Ca, Tijuana and Mexicali, Mexico. Safety West, one of the largest safety product distributors in the Southwest. Safety West was sold in 2002 to Airgas Inc.

The manufacturing of rivets started in 1971 when Mr. Randall purchased Allfast Fastening Systems, Inc. from American Electric, Inc.

In 1974 Mr. Randall purchased the aerospace solid rivet manufacturing division from Olympic Fastening Systems. The same year, Allfast opened its own blind rivet division.
In 1987 Mr. Randall acquired the assests of the blind rivet division of Voi-Shan Fastening Systems.

In 1989, Mr. Randall acquired the remaining divisions of Olympic Fastening Systems,which included blind rivets and installation tooling.
In 1999, Mr. Randall purchased Briles Rivet, a manufacturer of proprietary “Fast Rivet” located in Oceanside, CA.

In 2002, Mr. Randall acquired Aerospace Rivet Manufacturer, a division of Trans Technology Corporation and consolidated all the companies he had acquired into Allfast with a total of 170,000 square feet for manufacturing. With 12 active patents and 29 trademarks, it isthe leading provider of solid & blind rivets, blind bolts and installation tooling for the aerospace industry.

Mr. Randall is also a major developer of industrial commercial buildings in City of Industry.

Mr. Randall is a member of several organizations including: City of Industry Manufacturers Council, Defense Industry Initiative (for ethical behavior), Industrial Fastener Institute, Aerospace Industries Association, Metallic Material Properties Development and Standardization, National Aerospace Standards Committee, and a former member of the Boeing North America Supplier Council.  Mr. Randall continues to serve as director on several boards around Southern California.
